Jeremiah Talon's on an adventure of discovery - against his will - an epic journey that starts here and weaves itself through space and time. Science Fiction Fans will find themselves rooting for Jeremiah, and his best friend Leax, as the unlikely duo face the evil factions of the Citadel together in hopes of stamping out tyranny where it lives.

I felt floored as the characters in Charles Millhouse's story came to life on the page - I found myself unable to put the story down. Through multiple twists and turns, from the Atlantic ocean in the 1800's to the vast open ocean of future space aboard a Starship named ECLIPSE, these characters anchored me in the story. Dark forces of the Citadel pursue the lives of the main characters, but they fight back, and they fight back with the true spirit of heroes.

If you LOVE science fiction like the author does, you must give this book a hearty look. It's well worth your time. Revised and Edited to set these characters free on the page, this story feels destined to become a treasured favorite.

I found a gem within the pages of IN MEMORY ALONE.

Overall, I enjoyed the story. However, I found the first half of the book to be a real chore to read. I kept putting it down, and almost quit reading it several times. But the last half went easily, once the action kicked up a notch. At this point, I'm not sure if I will continue on to the other books in the series.

Very imaginative and full of action, but had a few mistakes in the story that distracted me. A few times I got lost but usually found my way back. Aside from all that, it is actually a good read.

This was a pretty good science fiction story with plenty of action. I'm looking forward to the continuing story of Jeremiah Talon in Crossroads of the World.

In Memory Alone
Book One of Talon’s Epic
Charles F. Millhouse

This story has it all, going back in history before shooting off into space to become one of the best sci-fi’s I’ve ever read.

I have to put this book right up there with one of my favorite authors of sci-fi, Edgar Rice Burroughs, it was as if I were on a new adventure with John Carter War Lord of Mars.

I believe if Mr. Millhouse works this right he will have a long, long run with Jeremiah Talon and his adventures. His characters come to life on the page and make you want to follow on to discover what will happen next.

I was disappointed in the name of one of the characters. I don’t believe the name Ton does justice to him, something stronger would have made him more memorable and led credence to his lineage.

Enjoying this book as I did makes it hard for me to pick a favorite scene. I guess I would have to say that hearing that a great adventurer as Talon had a weakness of being claustrophobic this man can fight the biggest and the ugliest aliens that come his way but put him in a confine place and he freaks out

If you liked A Princess of Mars you will love this book I recommend this book to anyone who likes Sci-Fi and Adventure.

****
I only gave this book four stars because I think Mr. Millhouse can still grow with his story telling so I have to say Keep up the great work you are doing

This story has it all it goes back in history, then it shoots off to space to become one of the best sci-fi’s that I ever read.

I believe if Mr. Millhouse works this right I believe he could have a long, long run with Jeremiah Talon and his adventures

One thing I thought was poorly done was the Kid’s name Ton to me it just seemed like Mr. Millhouse just gave up trying to come up with names I am sure he could’ve found a better one if he put a little more thought to it. Another is chapter one and two could’ve been done in the first chapter.

There was so many parts in this book it was hard for me to pick a favorite one I guess I will mention this one on Leax home world remembering how he met his wife. I only go with this so I know I won’t ruin the book for no one

If you liked A Princess of Mars you will love this book I recommend this book to anyone who likes Sci-Fi and Adventure.
