Awesome find - perfect introduction to winemaking for a newcomer. Great photos, just the right amount of detail, and I loved the interviews with winemakers all over the world. Inspiring, and a great resource!

An excellent introduction to the problems and decision points of grape growers and winemakers, intended for general and professional wine lovers alike. It doesn't answer a lot of the questions in any great depth, but the breadth of the book is astounding. It puts the whole process in great perspective and it shows me where I need to concentrate my studies.

Nice pictures, some good interviews with wine makers, but this is mostly a coffee table book. However, a nice read but if you want to learn about wine making don't start with this one. Use it as a supplement.

Research for an upcoming novel. Fantastic book with even more detail than I expected. I worked in the wine industry for seven years, but still learned plenty from this one.
