Yet another hmmm. I have no idea what happened to book 2 in this series on modern buddhism: the path of compassion and wisdom, I have read vol 1 and vol 3.
This volume 3 was a book of prayers most of which were written by the author. Unfortunately like volume 1, I really didn't get into this little book and again gave up reading half way through. Perhaps it's a good thing I've lost volume 2 then as I can't say it was looking good for it!
It took me months to read Modern Buddhism volume 3. I have read the other two volumes without a problem but this volume 3 I had to reread it just to understand it. Very confusing. Thank You
Un livre intéressant sur la pratique du bouddhisme tibétain de Lamrim Kadam, une méthode à laquelle je n'adhère pas du tout (je suis moine de l'école zen), mais que je ne connaissais pas auparavant.
All three books were helpful, but the information varied from the assumption the reader is stupid, to assuming the reader can decipher complex involved practices, some great ideas though

I was disappointed. this book reads like scripture... very difficult to follow for the laywoman. The illustrarions were endearing though...I didn’t finish this book.
