A good introduction to what Buddhism is and some philosophy about it. For me the use of detachment can be very useful in reducing expectations and painful emotions. The concept of emptiness or nonexistence approaches denial. It can be useful for me to a point.
Deep meaning of life to attain enlightenment. For those who want to add meaning to their daily activities and realizing themselves, they will find meditative exercises in this volume on Tantra that will serve that purpose.
This is a wonderful introduction to Buddha’s Tantra teachings, and I am eager to continue learning more. Truly an amazing book. I highly recommend it to people already familiar with Sutra teachings and those with some meditation experience.

There are a few gems in this book but they are buried in so much mud that it isn't worth looking for them. There are many other better options. I think the author had some good ideas but over complicated everything. There was a lot of circular logic, logical leaps, and just plain bad logic in parts of the book. Perhaps the best example is when speaking of truth the author poses the scenario of if you dream of that you steal a diamond and someone asks if you if you stole the diamond, the answer is yes. But the chapter before he "proved" there is no self and prior to that he "proved" that there is not even a diamond. So since there is no I and there is no diamond, how could I steal them, even in a dream?
Although this says Volume 2, part 1, 2 and 3 are all one book if you get the real book as apposed to the eBook (which is broken up into 3 downloads and is free on Amazon). This part, Tantra, is so amazing and inspiring. I have heard many offhand comments on Tantra that bore no relationship to the Tantra that is explained in Buddhism. This book clearly explains what Tantra is and in a way that is both detailed and clear yet not overwhelming. His other books on Tantra are fantastic for those who are deeply interested in taking this path as their spiritual path. But for someone wanting something more than just an introduction, but manageable to the newcomer, there is no better book out there.
This volume goes deeper into Tibetan Buddhism. It covers a very deep and somewhat complicated practice. It is more of a manual for this deeper practice.
In another book I read with similar content, it was said that one needs a master to receive the transmissions to begin the Vajrayogini/Heruka meditation.
It was an interesting read, and I recommend it to anyone interested in Buddhism.
Hard going as usual with these books, too many long names. Still an interesting read and once I tried the chant to summon the 18 deities, it was quite relaxing. My understanding of the rituals and beliefs have at least gone up a notch or two, which is where I seem to be in most things spiritually these days.
