Author Eric Walz, born in 1966, started writing short stories after taking a business training, but his passion has always been for historical subjects. Eric Walz lives in Berlin, working as a freelance personal trainer and author. At present he is writing his next historical novel.

Kai skaičiau, skaičiau greitai ir lengvai. Tokia šiek tiek odė egoizmui - Elžbieta aiškiai žinojo, ko nori, ir kritiniais momentais jai buvo nusispjaut, ko nori kiti. Kita vertus, labai gerai, kad šalia buvo tokių, kuriems buvo nenusispjaut į jos norus, nes kažin, ar be jų pagalbos būtų viskas būtų susiklostę taip, kaip susiklostė.

I liked this book and was surprised that it was written by a man. It's really about emancipation and the fight of a woman to be recognized in the world of science during the 17th century.
I also liked the fact that the author tells you at the end which parts of the book were fiction and which were not.
Apparently, it's not out in English yet but I bet it will be soon.
