Abracadaver

Rate this book
It should have been simple. Wife and ad agency exec Kathy Johnson asks P.I. husband Willam to check the whereabouts of a co-worker’s brother, a student at UNC-Asheville. Johnson discovers the brother’s not where at his Philadelphia society girlfriend’s apartment. Instead, Johnson finds blood-soaked sheets and the remains of scanty bedclothes. Now a body is missing and the brother-boyfriend becomes the obvious suspect in a love-gone-bad murder. Johnson doesn’t buy it, and there begins the rub with the lead detective in the case who insists that it’s open and shut. The shocked, affluent parents want a body to bury. The unbelieving sister wants her brother cleared of all charges. And Willam Johnson wants the real Abracadaver killer caught…. Now that he knows who it is.
