It should have been simple. Wife and ad agency exec Kathy Johnson asks P.I. husband Willam to check the whereabouts of a co-worker’s brother, a student at UNC-Asheville. Johnson discovers the brother’s not where at his Philadelphia society girlfriend’s apartment. Instead, Johnson finds blood-soaked sheets and the remains of scanty bedclothes. Now a body is missing and the brother-boyfriend becomes the obvious suspect in a love-gone-bad murder.
