Gnarled Lines: Explosive Poetry
This is my second book of new poetry this year, I keep saying that I will slow down and give it a rest for a while. But the ideas keep coming. Putin has been a source of inspiration, with his horrible, evil war in the Ukraine. It is hard not to be affected by it.
It's the same old stuff, love, breakup, pain, loss and occasionally humour just to let you know that I am not always miserable.
I am really a happy sort of guy and see the funny side to life, whenever I can.
The book title is based on the beautiful pic I have used on the front cover, it was taken by my brother in law, Mike Hurry. This is the 6th pic of Mike’s I have used, and I must thank Mike for taking such great photos and allowing me to use them.
The picture was taken in the Islands in Inverness. One of my favourite places and where the ashes of my dear sister Carole were spread.
