Es un recurso sólido para entrenadores de natación que buscan mejorar sus conocimientos sobre el deporte, pero tiene algunos puntos que lo mantienen por debajo de lo que su título promete. El libro reúne a varios expertos en natación que ofrecen una amplia gama de consejos sobre técnicas, estrategias de entrenamiento y preparación mental, lo que lo convierte en un texto útil, especialmente para aquellos entrenadores que están comenzando o desean refrescar su enfoque.

Uno de los puntos más fuertes del libro es la diversidad de temas que cubre, desde los aspectos técnicos de cada estilo de natación hasta cómo desarrollar a un atleta en el largo plazo.
