In Revelations 2 and 3, we see the phrase " he that overcomes" seven times. This is absolutely important to know. It's NOT about being "born again", it's about being an overcomer. We really are to be like Jesus Christ, who said, "Be of good cheer. I have overcome the world." This means you can, too. Kenneth Hagin explains very well, using scripture always, what exactly this means, and how to be an overcomer.
What is also important is that most Christians are waiting for the rapture, but Jesus is waiting for us to look like Him. He comes for a glorious bride, not a weak and defeated one waiting in the tower to be rescued ! HE would be unequally yoked if He did that. Ya, wow. Christianity is not for wimps. We need to study and know God's Word, and to also know our enemy if we are to defeat him. Kenneth Hagin teaches many of these important things in this book.

Oi gave this book a 5 star rating because the author backs up his beliefs with biblical scriptures. It's a very long book to read, especially for me, who I consider to be a baby Christian. I'm. Anxious to read " the believers authority" by the same author.

Kenneth E. Hagin’s book, The Triumphant Church: Dominion Over All The Powers of Darkness, gives a comprehensive study on the subject of demonology. Though the book dates back to 1963; I decided to purchase it because I believed it contained a wealth of wisdom; and I was not disappointed. Of all the books I’ve preciously read on spiritual warfare, Hagin’s book surpasses them all.

The book contained 12 chapters and his writing style made the book easy to understand. He provides Scripture verses from the Bible, and testimony stories from his own life and that of others. This book stirred me up; and as each chapter ended: I couldn’t wait to start the next. I was being taught by a well-respected teacher of the Word, who was using his God-given gift to set people free from the bondage of Satan and his cohorts.

He begins the book with Origins: Satan and His Kingdom. In this chapter he provides a description of three types of churches: militant church, defeated church, and triumphant church. Obviously the triumphant church is the one believers need to be a part of. This book is devoted to teaching its readers how to exercise their God-given authority as believers in Jesus Christ. Readers are reminded that Satan was dethroned by Jesus when He descended into hell and took back keys of the kingdom that where rightfully His. The point is driven that the only power Satan has is what people choose to give him.

He answers questions such as: Can a Christian have a demon? Is it scriptural to pull down strongholds? What is true biblical warfare? Spiritual warfare: are you wrestling or resting? I was amazed and astounded why the answers Hagin provided. I greatly appreciated Chapter 7 devoted to The Wisdom of God, which is what every believer needs to know and apply in their daily walk with the Lord.

The Triumphant Church: Dominion Over All The Powers of Darkness is a must read for Christians and non-Christians. I ended this book with more wisdom and knowledge than when I started; and I plan on reading it again. There’s a treasure trove of information within its page and I want to ensure I didn’t miss anything. Another great book to add to my ever-growing faith library.

This was a great and powerful read!

“As Christians, we are seated in heavenly places in Christ, and therefore, we look down on Satan and his hosts from a place of triumph, not fear or defeat… And if we’re going to deal biblically, with a kingdom of darkness, we need to always be mindful of what triumphant position as joint heirs with Christ. It is a position of authority in Christ over the devil, and all his works and operations against us.”

“Believer simply need to take their place of authority, and Christ. Believers don’t need to be continually on the run from the devil or harassed in mind or body. The believers authority in Christ is a place of victory and triumph far above principalities and powers.”

I give this four stars because there was constant repetition that annoyed me a lot.
Still, the author does give real life stories that make the book more interesting and the lessons he teach are worth learning for any Christian. He teaches us how to cast out demons properly and what to beware.
Main lesson: always pray to God for guidance instead of praying against the Devil. God should be your focus, not Satan. Always base your trust in the ministry on the Word, make sure that whatever is being ministered can be found in the Word and is not overemphasized.

I have been an eyewitness of several real demon possessions and oppressions when I was a child. It was literally out of this world. This book have explained that mostly demons target the mind. And I do believe that because nowadays there are literally tons of books were the demon can crawl unnoticeably in the minds of people. Thank God I’m protected. (Why am I sure? I am 100% sure. That’s a story for another day.) What is more scary is that the author said that even believers or people well versed in the Bible can also be affected. And I know it’s true because I witnessed it.

Game Changer

I've been a lover of Jesus for over 15 years. I love church and the ministry and I would still give so much to advance Gods kingdom. But I'm hungry for more... I'm in a place in my life where I have to cross over from following into leading. After reading this book I feel like a quarter back ready to tackle whatever blocks my way. This is a must read for all believers.

highly recommended

One of the best books I read on spiritual authority. This book is rooted in scripture and paints the picture of what the church should look like and what the church should be doing. The book will give you great understanding of how the kingdom of darkness operates, how your flesh can play a part in your downfall and how you can overcome. I highly recommend this book.

This book is an excellent work that addresses how Christians should deal with satanic oppression. It explains our authority in Jesus Christ, but it also delves into the importance of being led by the Holy Spirit in the exercise of that authority. Through his many years of experience, he shares examples of how he has walked in victory over the devil and demon spirits.

Notes::
Christians waste their time dealing with a satan outside of themselves instead of crucifying their own flesh and dealing with sin

I love how he goes through the Scriptures so diligently and making it simple. BUT, I don't get the logic he comes up with in the first chapter or so explaining a supposedly pre-Adamic race. Other than that, the book is excellent if you want to study more on the believer's authority when it comes to deliverance.

Phenomenal Book!! Love DAD Hagin’s books!!

This is definitely a book that should be in every born again believers hand (those who have just accepted Jesus as their savior). This will bring clarity to those coming into the things of Christ. Content is clear and precise in its objective.

So amazing I'm truly speechless. If we, the Church, exercised only half the authority we have in Christ, the world would be quite a different place. A book full of the Word, to come back to again and again.
