Rate this book

Money💰 Is A Drag, Keep Your Hands Off Of My Stash💰!

Late Regency ADULT Romance💕 and Mostly Romantic Comedy💃💋 with Adventure.

This is a mostly romantic comedy about Viscount Sheffield🐺🍆⛲, who needs 💰money to pay off his father's gambling debts and get their estate back in the black. He is heir to the his father, an Earl, but meantime his widowed father is spending them into oblivion.
Sheffield🐺🍆⛲ needs a wealthy wife👰, so He has his steward make a list of all the eligible ton heiresses! He is taking the practical approach.

He sets his sights on Lady Melissa💃💋, one young wealthy woman, and is like a hound 🐕dog on the trail 👣. She knows he is serious, so she tries to avoid him, but he is persistent.

Of course, there is much more to this story than just a romance, but you'll have to read this wonderfully written page turner📖 to find out!

One of the best

This is my favorite Deborah Simmons book, the characters are fun and completely relatable. I love the surprise at the end, you just can't see that coming. Overall this is a fun read, I think I literally smiled the entire time I spent reading Fortune Hunter.

It was a very fun story with engaging characters. A little subterfuge, a lot of laughs and a wonderful HEA (or two).😉

Would have been a solid 3, but the ending was a letdown.
Better books - like Alice Coldbreath's Bridegroom bought and paid for or Suzanne Enoch's The Rake. Or Winter at Wildsyde.

This was my first historical romance book and I loved it so much. The plot itself is incredibly good. I will never stop recommending it to my friends!
