Summer Heston is ready to give up on men and has sworn off blind dates permanently. A chance text message and phone conversation with two mysterious friends of Grace’s changes her mind. A dangerous situation literally thrusts her into their powerful arms as the attacks on her ladies’ adults-only boutique escalate and the tone of the Divine Morality blog grows more blatantly hateful.
Ace and Kemp work diligently to protect the women of Discretion while simultaneously striving to win Summer’s heart. A minor mistake on Kemp’s part has big repercussions for their budding romance as their ability to withstand their growing attraction for Summer crumbles. When their passion finally flares out of control, their intimate tryst becomes much more than a minor indiscretion.
When an old flame knocks at the door, Summer must face her doubts and make a decision. Can she trust her instincts?
Heather Rainier lives and writes in South Central Texas. Her stories offer up the content of her fantasies, with humor, tragedy, and triumph mixed in.
Heather's love of romance fiction began as a teenager when her mom gave her copies of Kathleen Woodiwiss's "The Flame and the Flower" and Bertrice Small's "Skye O'Malley". To this day she's pretty sure that was her mom's version of the "birds and the bees" talk.
Heather writes the type of novel she loves to read: More erotic and edgy than the mainstream, with plenty of sweet romance mixed in and a happily ever after guaranteed. Heather's favorite type of hero is the gentle, lovable giant but readers will discover a wide variety of heroes and alphas on the pages of her novels.
When not at her keyboard, Heather is usually busy corralling her teenagers, or loving on her smokin' hot husband, who thankfully loves to cook.

love this book. I laughed, sighed and gasped it was that good. It was sexy and hot. Its a must read. Heather Rainier is an amazing writer. I love all her books. She hasnt let me down. This series is truly a piece of art!!!! BRAVO!
My least fav of the series. It was ok but come on, 2 hunky guys falling in love at first sight with one girl? That is a bit of a stretch even for romantic fiction. Damn, but she was one lucky girl. Another plus sized heroine. Seriously?
Really enjoyed this book. Liked that the blogger chit caught and it wasn't dragged on too long. Very sexy saucy book. Loved the girly friend group that's developed. Great HEA.
This continues the Devine Series and is a worthy entry! Summer is a fun, feisty, and curvy girl who runs a special kind of store. Discretion caters to ladies for intimate items, lingerie and books, among other things! Having trouble with the local morality police (self appointed, or course), she finds herself in need of a security system. Enter the men who will rock her world, Ace and Kemp.
Hot, sweet romance. Lots of sex, in lots of locations. And we catch up with the characters from previous stories in the Devine Series. What could be better?
Interesting and enjoyable as I liked the three main characters. Found Summer, Kemp and Ace a good fit. Great that we finally get to the bottom of who is behind the nasty blogs and attacks. Typical it is someone with a jealousy issue and a bigger shame to worry about than who loves whom. The back story of the men’s old love Kathleen was just too weird. All that time with no contact and then she wants to pick up where they left off. The fact Kathleen is all forgiveness to the old basket who blackmailed her and she gets a huge inheritance out of it was just unbelievably wrong. Read years ago and rereading in the box sets.
Someone once said “you have to kiss a few frogs to find your prince”. In Summer’s case it’s more like “you have to date a few dogs to find the men who will treat you like a princess”.
Divine, Texas has had its share of excitement and controversy thanks to a group of anonymous morality police who excel at stirring up trouble. Whoever is behind the spiteful rants of the Divine Morality blog has stepped up their game to include breaking and entering, vandalism, and voyeurism (not the good kind, either!). Security consultants and best friends, Ace Webster and Kent Whittier, have been led on a merry chase by the elusive blogger from book one of the Divine Creek Ranch series, Divine Grace. When Ace and Kemp meet and fall for the beautiful and curvy Summer they realize that they too now have a vested interest in stopping the slanderous poster. With the help of some really hot techy friends, the mysterious blog troll is uncovered along with some secrets that will leave one Divine resident shaken to the core.
Author Heather Rainier continues to solidify her incredible story telling talent with the Seventh installment to the Divine Creek Ranch Series. Summer’s Indiscretion is a delicious sensory overload that I couldn’t seem to put down. I met and fell in love with Summer in Maya’s Triple Dare. It was apparent even then that she was soft hearted and often under-appreciated by the men she dated. Her clever tongue, easy going sense of humor and refreshing optimism won me over and had me anticipating the story that would reward her with a stunning HEA. Ms. Rainier did not disappoint when she paired Summer with Ace and Kemp.
As I mentioned, Ace and Kemp are more than co-workers, they have a history that forged a tight bond of brotherhood. In a word, they complement one another: Where Ace is a quiet and intense, Kemp is more open and expressive. Each time they sweetly addressed Summer as “Kitten” or “Darlin’” my heart couldn’t help but give a silent sigh as it melted.
Ms. Rainier doesn’t leave her readers in the dark about what makes her heroes tick. One of the elements of her writing that I really appreciate is how she sprinkles in the past all throughout the story rather than sending the reader on a dizzying time warp. Her characters are carefully plotted out and readers are treated to advance teasers of upcoming stories by including simple but non-distracting asides. In Summer’s Indiscretion we are gifted with some insight into Lydia, Chase and Clayton’s story as well as the fun holiday romp recently released for Duke, Gage and Dr. Emma Guthrie.
As always, Ms. Rainier accentuates her stories with a fun and cheeky soundtrack. I wasn’t much of a country music fan until I started visiting Divine, TX on a regular basis. Now, I actually find myself checking Youtube for the latest videos by Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean and Big & Rich. Don’t be surprised to find yourself humming the seductive words to “Steal You Away” as you read Ace, Kemp and Summer’s story. Each new story that comes out of Divine is sweet and sexy and sure to fuel some fantastic dreams. Spend some time getting know Ms. Rainiers unique town. The men are sensual, strong and protective and the women are…Divine.
Summer Heston is wondering what she has done for such bad karma when it comes to men, each date, boyfriend, blind date seems to have disaster all over it and her newest setup failed the moment she saw the disappointment register on his face that she was a full figured woman. Little does Summer realize that security specialists Ace and Kemp have been watching her, while on a case and are waiting for their moment to approach her.
What she had hoped to be a a normal courtship, becomes something else as the threat of continues to grow for the women of Divine and Summer is their next target.
I love this series, I was a little perplexed by who Ace was going to end up with since in previous books it looked to be someone else and he had an air of mystery that did not come out so much in this book. Once you get into the story though it works, more so for Kemp and Summer since she seems to have a way to calm the steely exterior he has. I am most looking for the next book, Lydia's story.
The divine morality blog storyline is resolved in this book.
Also, one can see more potential love matches being presented in the story, so hopefully, there will be more after Lydia's story is published.
I was astonished how sexually open Summer is in this story. She wasn't a wild woman or anything, but when she was ready, she didn't hold back. That's was unusual to see.
I'm enjoying this series immensely, but I'm still surprised at how smoothly the relationships go in it. It's not something I'm used to seeing.
This one was just ok for me. I thought that things went super fast for the trio before they declared love and then proposed. But there were some funny bits, especially the part with poison oak in private areas.
I found myself more interested in Chance's gifts to Lydia and the whole evil blog antics. I did feel sorry for what was learned about the evil blogger, one person has the potential to really get the shaft.
Summer Heston is a lame-o magnet, no matter who sets up her dates she just can't win, but after receiving a few texts messages from some mystery men she's hoping to have a different opinion...Ace and Kemp have been intrigued by the curvy blonde who has been on a few lousy dates that they've been witness to they're hopeful that they can convince Summer to give them a chance..... I found this one to be sweet and funny definitely
Ace, Kemp and Summer had me all caught up in their drama. She has all but given up on men until she connects with friends of Grace. Ace and Kemp were captivated with Summer and wanted her to become a part of their family. As they get to know each other, someone is spying on them and is putting their tryst on a blog that is causing trouble for the trio. Will they be able to weather the outcome and continue their relationship?
Loved this book! Anything this author writes is awesome. The books are very detailed and you can lose yourself in the world that she paints on the page. I also know her on a semi personal level and let me just say she totally rocks! I promise you would not be disappointed with this nor any other in this series!
Yeah!! Summer finally gets her story!! And Ace gets a happy ever after menage!! Loved the whole book except for the part where sassy BBW Summer was questioning her self. She has always been so self assured and I hated seeing her doubt her sexiness! Overall a very steamy read!! Lots of hints for future romances as well!!
I liked this one especially because our heroine Summer was a character that wasn't perfect. She was relatable and because of that even though I didn't always like her character I found myself routing for her. I really really wanted her to get it right and finally get some happiness and she did. Her two men were just a dream if I could meet two guys like that in real-life well ...
Summer attracts Kemp and Ace and there's no turning back - it's like touching lava when the three get together - there are a couple of things that they have to work through.
Loved Summer's story. Being a full-figured gal myself I felt so in tune with Summer's character. Now if only I could get so lucky ;) Cannot wait for Lydia's story.
I just really loved the story of Ace/Summer/Kemp, this was a fun romantic love story. It had laughs, love, and lots of lusty scenes. I am really enjoying the Divine Series.
Thoroughly enjoyed Ace and Kemp, the sexy was a bit dialled back from previous books but it allowed for a better story to be integrated. Still a very good read.
The women of Divine are really kick ass heroines. Summer seems to attract the wrong kind of men. Her last couple of blind dates have ended in disaster. She has vowed never again to go on a blind date. Ace and Kemp have watched her come into The Dancing Pony with some real losers. After her latest date leaves her there, they decide now is their chance with the beautiful blonde. Ace texts Grace and hands the phone to Summer. Can they convince her to go on one more blind date? Can Summer let go of her insecurities enough to let the two handsome men into her life? A must read
