Paul B. Kidd writes very well, this is the second book of his that I've read. This book, just like the other, is very well researched. I find it very interesting that many horrific murders and serial killers have come out of NSW (I'll remain in Victoria, thanks). I would be interested to know if this is coincidence because Kidd lives in NSW making it eaiser to talk to police who were involved in the cases or if there is evidence that the more well known cases come from Sydney.
It is easy to tell that Kidd is respectful of the law, the victims, and the families of both victims and offenders.
I'd very much like to meet Kidd and chat about the current issues in Australian crime.

Interesting but when into alot of detail about one murder, and hardly any on others. Needs to be consistent.
