By turns a literary examniation of Rumi's poetry, his spiritual biography, and a how-to for following the Way of Passion, "Song of the Sun" has reminded me not just to continually deepen my own spiritual practices, but why I want to do so: to become ever more aware of the Living Presence in every aspect of my life and to express it more completely. One quote, from a mystic who was Rumi's teacher, stood out for me. "Wherever life takes you, go on. Always further on."

I have literally nothing to explains this book because it touches my heart or perhaps, it may have touched the hearts of all those who have read it. It is excellent. The teachings of Rumi are beyond one's thinking, belief, or any kind of mundane bounds that keep humanity divided. This is a must read.
