Three years later, two friends have no choice but to leave their bunker and are forced to travel across the broken terrain of Nevada. They soon realize the world they once knew is destroyed, and they must battle against the unnatural weather patterns, hunger, dehydration, and the vicious psychopaths that roam the wasteland searching for survivors to kill for their supplies. The fight for survival leads them to interesting characters, unknown landmarks, and a rumor of hope that might be the key to rebuilding civilization.
