A must for all lacemakers wishing to explore the use of logarithmic grid for lace patterns with a variable pitch. After an introduction by Jane Atkinson, it describes the work by the Bristol Lace Project with a number of patterns produced by its members and goes on to feature other logarithmic designs by various lacemakers. The patterns all have a very clear pricking, a photograph, thread and bobbin notes.There follows about 17 pages of various logarithmic grids which provide an excellent resource for lacemakers who wish to try this interesting approach to lacemaking.
