Actually, you have to be fairly seriously into cricket to like this book, and cricket, as any American will tell you, is a game that "takes about two weeks". But the crowning glory here makes it all worthwhile, and I'm talking of course about the never before revealed exchanges between Geoff Boycott and Bob Dylan. Still has me laughing just thinking about it...

A lively spoof on some imaginary musings ascribed to some famous Ashes protagonists over many years and also other eminent non-cricketing personalities. The ones on Ian Botham's son Liam Botham and C.B.Fry are downright hilarious.

A collection of cricinfo page 2 articles. Extremely funny in parts (WG Grace and CB Fry come to mind), soporific elsewhere. A light, easy read. But not as satisfying as it could be.
