Storm Watcher: Trials of Balance, Chapter Three

Rate this book
In a world ruled by legends and defended by magic, many races lived together to maintain the balance. However, the humans waged war and the balance was broken. Now the other races fight to preserve all life and the land that sustains it. Thus began a time known as the Trials Of Balance. The Aukern prophets foretold the coming of a savior. That savior, young Kiri, is of a race vanished and long-since forgotten. She wanders alone, unsure of her destiny and watched by hidden eyes. Many individuals are destined to cross her path; some are kind, some are evil. Those who may have the biggest impact remain invisible to the Keeper of Balance, the Swordmaster Zyphus and an Aukern named Rylar who knows something about her that even she does not. In this third chapter of the Trials Of Balance Kiri struggles to find herself and her meaning in life while Rylar fights to uncover some terrible secrets that could threaten everyone in the land. The land’s balance continues to weaken, and soldiers from the Dark Army continue their massacres of innocent people. In a race against time Kiri must find allies and fight. . . or all shall die.
