A Spot on the Naughty List: A Littles of the Night Tail
The tree is up and the stockings are hung, but Spot is not in the mood to be jolly!
This year it’s the coven’s turn to be audited personally for who gets on the Naughty or Nice List. If Spot knows anything, it’s that he’s probably going to be seen as a troublemaker again.
Vahtsa is not at all what Spot expected in an elf.
He smells delicious and sets him tingling in all sorts of ways. How unfair is that? The very elf who is likely his mate, is probably the same guy who will finish ruining his life! All he wants is to be a great PI and accomplished spymaster. Why can’t anyone see that and take him seriously? After all, he’s watched every James Bond there is so far, watched every episode of every series of Scooby Doo, and logged countless hours playing a PI in his favorite simulation game.
If this guy ruins his Christmas, the New Year will be off to a bad start.
Or will it? After all, a demon cat always lands on his feet, elves maybe not so much. Still, Spot can’t help but wish that Vahtsa will turn out to be the Daddy he deserves.

Kinda disappointed
Kind of disappointing. I've loved this series and these characters but this was kind of eh. Spot's more obnoxious traits seemed to be magnified to the point where he was barely tolerable, Vahsta kept talking about being a Daddy but showed zero Daddy-ish qualities, even Callen and Breck felt off somehow.
I really liked that the people around Spot understand that the bad things that happen to/around him are mostly meant with good intentions even if they end poorly. I think this could have been a turning point for Spot to have a bit of personal growth but he just got 10x worse. I honestly feel really sorry for Vahsta, he is clearly just going to constantly get stomped on pandering to his mate and he doesn't deserve that. Side note, I had to put the kindle down and walk away so I didn't die of second hand embarrassment from that "proposal". Ugh.
To be honest I can't be sure I'd continue this series after this and that's a shame because ive really loved the books so far in spite of the many many continuity and editing issues. Pretty disappointed overall.

Whenever this author releases one of her stories about Callan's clan I am on it like icing on a cake. Spot is the main character in this story but the rest of the gang are in it too. Spot finally meets his mate who just happens to be the '' list Checker'' for Santa and Spot is not doing so well on the list. Vahsta is a Polar elf and works for Santa. He loves the little island on the ocean and it's warmth. Determined to stay there, he decides to quick working for Santa when his job is done after Christmas. Never did he think he would meet his fated mate in a demon cat named Spot. A cat that is going through some tough times and has increased anger issues. A rejected elf, a cranky cat, nosy friends, Lots of broken things, Breck crying a lot, a very angry Callan, a naughty list that Spot may or may not get on and lot's of regret on Spot's side...oh and don't forget the something big and red in Spot's future. A great little story and an author that I can't get enough of.

Spot in danger of being on the Naughty List is no surprise and I loved how he met his fated mate, a Polar Elf named Vahtsa and of course was mad because he thought they had sprung a mate on him without telling him. He is very bratty in this story and makes excuses for getting in trouble and everyone is exasperated with him but you do feel for him because he reacts first without considering the consequences. The third date was hilarious with adapting Mr Rogers' song for the dance and a decoder ring was perfect. Spot gets better but will always be a handful.

I haven't read this series before, but I will be. I think this is the funniest story I have read in a long time. Spot reminds me of one of my sons--never meant to do anything wrong--it just happened. The writing was good and the characters were great. Definitely recommend, even if it isn't Christmas.

Aaww I love Spot!!
This was absolutely perfect. I love A. Littles writing they do an amazing job writing Littles and Spots HEA tool me by surprise. I cannot wait to see him get his PI job going with his sweet Daddy.

Yay!!! I’m so happy we got Spot’s story. He needed a mate who understood him and wanted him just as he is. I can’t wait to see how they are doing in the next book. After all we still have a few guys who need their mates.

Uproarious!
The book is not 7.5 of the Littles of the Night Series, it is actually 6.5!
This book was so diverting, Spot was a lunatic, as always, loved the new addition to the family, the story was so absurd, it was tremendously funny!
Kudos to A. Little!!!
Great performance by Zachary Zaba, gorgeous voice and amazing acting, the recordings still presented the same flaws, way less than the previous, fortunately! Congrats!
