This book is a very short read with some information in it about crickets. One interesting fact that I learned was that crickets have ears on their legs. I would use this book for our class to do a bug study. I would like to allow my students to pick a bug and study more about what bug they choose.

A good introductory series for preschoolers who love insects. The photographs are large and colorful and the text is very simple and easy to understand for young children.
