Guess who’s back? Beast seemingly disappeared off the face of the Earth to let the people that he loved live their lives in peace, without the chaos and turmoil they’ve suffered by being associated with him. He returned, out of nowhere, for vengeance following the brutal murder of his father by a ruthless gang. His plans change after finding out about his son, Lil’ Beast, born to his beloved, Jasmine... and with Detective Tony strong on his case. Beast decides to do what’s best for Jasmine and his son; start a new life with them.

Things quickly turn for the worse when the gang kidnaps Lil' Beast. On a rampage to save his son before it’s too late, Beast unleashes a brutal fury that brings the city to its knees. But the gang had a plan of their own… Kill the Beast! Will he save his son? Will Beast survive? Or will Beast fall?

wow!!!

Now I want to know who was at Jasmine door? How are you going to leave us hanging? There has to be a part 3 lol all in all this book was just like the last book, a page turner. Now my next question is, when and where is the connection between Hosea(The ending of Contract2) and Beast in Montego Bay?

I think the author did a good job on what I think was his first series. The story moved well. The characters were somewhat developed and the basic structure was evident. The writing was a little stilted, but all in all, this was a solid read.

This sequel to Beast is full of unexpected twists and turns with a plot that just doesn't quit. Beast is back, and he's HUNGRY for vengeance. There's blood shed, murder, and mayhem. JC definitely gave readers a book that keeps you coming back as Jasmine struggles to figure out her direction, Keta's role is changed, and the major players are those you might not expect now that previous hard hitters lost their lives in the first installation in this series.

There are scores to be settled, and A.D. (after death), Beast shows us that his more sensitive, emotionally charged self is ripe for the picking as he sets up for the settling.

The long awaited sequel to Beast is as gritty and action-packed as the debut novel. Readers who enjoy all of the drama, erotica, and violence found in contemporary urban novels will truly love the intensity of Beast AD. I applaud author JC for this effort. The characters are quite realistic and multi-dimensional. He captures the vibe of the hood perfectly, making me feel as though I was right in the mean streets with Beast! Can't wait to read the next novel by this author.
