I have loved Farrar's insightful writings like "Point Man" and "Finishing Strong". This book was so negative and hateful which brings out the worst in evangelicals. Follower of Christ must have a different voice than simply anti-this and anti-that. We are isolating ourselves into irrelevance. Remember grace. Jesus touched the leper -- the outcast.

A truly inspiring book. A must-read for all men of all ages, but especially for those men in the midst of raising children.

What an important task we have of turning our homes into an "outpost of civilization" in the midst of a Baal-centered culture.

Although this was written almost 25 years ago, it is very current. Farrar has taped into the problems & needs of his fellow man. We need his comments & I have tried to pass them along. There are a boatload of motivating quotes. My kind of book.
