Maybe it's because I love Almodóvar beyond reason (I still can't conceive there's anything wrong with any of his films) but this book leaves me thinking that Antonio Holguín should love Pedro's films a lot more.

He dwells too much in aspects that may be interesting but certainly not as he presents them (aesthetics particularly), while others like actors or scripts are touched quite lightly.

However, if you have seen and loved Almodóvar films, this book can be interesting especially for the excerpts written by the director himself.
