If you’re interested in witchcraft and wicca I do believe this book is a great starter. It’s easy to understand and talks about the basics.

This is the first little book I ever bought on the subject of Witchraft so my review is a little biased. I found the "Question and Answer" layout to be very helpful, asking a broad range of questions.
Moorey writes from a very personal perspective and yet doesn't try to impose her views on the reader.
Unlike many other "Beginner" books on the market, this puts the emphasis firmly on the spiritual aspects of Witchcraft rather than the magical.

I have a lot of fond memories attached to this book. Back in 1996 this was one of the very first books on Witchcraft I read. Its format was brilliant for a then 12-year old. Well put together questions and answers which outlined the beliefs of Witches, putting everything into context. I cannot fault this book. It was the first book I gave to my husband to read to help him understand my beliefs and he loved it to.

A good book, but definitely not to a book to read when wanting to enter in the witch pathway. It is more a book to read when you are just curious about witchcraft and what people usually do when being wiccans or hedge witches.

Are you a curious person and you wanna know about what REAL witchcraft is? Pick this up. It is formed with several FAQs about witchcraft. The answers are very brief and clear.

A short introduction gives you the basics like a teaser. In that sense, it's a good read.
