A natty little compendium of dandies through the ages, with meditations on dandyism’s key tenets, related arts, and unique outlook on all aspects of life, dress, deportment, style, drinking, gambling, ennui, idleness, extravagance, wit, hedonism, and oh so much more.
Stephen Robins did a magnificent job in this little reference guide to "Dandy" literature. Well written and researched, this book led me to a lot of interesting writers. And yeah it deals with the clothing, etc. But it is also very literary. must for well-dressed cad who loves to read books about other cads.
