Theatre and Audience

Rate this book
A provocative overview of the questions raised by theatrical encounters between performers and audiences, drawing on examples that have sought to generate active audience involvement from Brechtâ s epic theatre to The Blue Man Group. This book saved my life throughout my BA, and it helped me out a lot during my MA too. It’s a really easy read for an academic book, and many of the topics are interesting and thought provoking.

4.5 for a writing project. Just wish it addressed the musical theater audience.
