This is a Clean Romance, and this is the third book in the Rocky Mountain Heirs series. I really enjoyed the characters in this book. This was a short quick read, but the characters really came to life in this book. The book is really well written. I did not read the first two books in the series, and I did not feel lost while reading this book. I think this book would be fine to read as a stand alone book or as a series.
I was quickly pulled into this story. Big city doctor is drawn to a small town single mother of triplet girls. There was a lot of circumstances that brought them together and I loved their story. I was disappointed however that a lot of things was left up in the air at the end of the book. I didn't feel that I got the kind of closure that I'm used to getting before the story comes to an end. This book was written in 2011 and it is part of the Rocky Mountain Heirs series. It could be that the story continues on in the next book. That's why I gave it four stars. I will check into this for other books in the series. ( I did buy the next book in the series. I believe I will read the entire series. This book got me hooked.)😊 I would recommend this book to readers of Christian Fiction and contemporary romance. I bought this book at a thief store. A review was not requested . All opinions expressed here are my own.
The Doctor's Family by Lenora Worth Book 3 in the Rocky Mountain Heirs Series Arabella Clayton Michaels was the only grandchild to stay in Clayton. She lived in the old Victorian known as “Clayton House.” She was the one who took care of Grandpa George until he died and she led him to Christ. Her husband took off shortly after she gave birth to her triplets, Jessie, Jamie & Julie. Arabella also took in Jasmine Turner after her alcoholic father abandoned her. Jasmine was now engaged to Cade Clayton, from the wrong side of the Clayton tree. The troubles that have followed the Clayton's since the Will continue in this book. And on top of everything else her mother comes to visit, a woman that left 10 years ago and never returned.
Dr. Jonathan Turner has no family but a niece he recently found out about. He has been sneaking around Clayton trying to find out about her. Jonathan left a small town like Clayton to go to Denver and make something of himself, never touching alcohol like his father and brother did. Now that he is getting to know his niece, he is also finding that not all small towns are the same, especially one with a lovely baker and three adorable munchkins. http://justjudysjumbles.blogspot.com/...
Who’s the creepy, stalker guy hanging around town? Arabella confronts him to find out and eventually realizes Jonathan is the man she will marry some day. This realization happens as the author changes Jonathan character. It also happens when conflicts with vandals arise. But did the author completely forget the vandalism acts at the end of the book? This book describes characters and introduces conflict well but forgets to resolve some of the conflict. The author of The Doctor’s Family, Lenora Worth, sets each character in their own distinct place. She thoroughly makes the other Claytons seem cruel and mean. Charley and Pauley Clayton make fun of Arabella and Jasmine in the diner for no reason. Worth portrays them always making trouble by showing the fight in the diner. She does this to give them a motive for the vandalism acts on Arabella and Jasmine. By giving them a motive it makes the reader believe they were the vandals making them even more cruel and mean. Worth also switches Arabella’s view of Jonathan Turner’s character throughout the book. At first Jonathan is seen by the reader and Arabella as a stalker and creepy person. Eventually though Arabella sees the true kind and loving person that Jonathan is. The author does this because every other character is set in their own place, except Jonathan, who is the character of mystery. Worth does a great job of putting each character in a specific position but still adds variety with Jonathan’s character. Great conflict was created in this book but some of it was forgotten at the end and unresolved. The author started by bringing conflict into the story well. Arabella, Jonathan, and Jasmine find the wedding dress out in the rain. That same day Arabella comes home to find her cake layers ruined. This conflict suddenly appears when the book is starting to slow down and brings the reader back into the story. This conflict specifically, gets kind of forgotten in the end of the book though. Worth gets so caught up in them falling in love that she forgets to reveal who the vandal is. Sometimes the resolution is left out on purpose but in this book the reader feels as though it was just forgotten. While the characters are described well to the reader the conflict is forgotten and unresolved. The author even makes the reader feel slightly forgotten at the end while the characters go on living their now perfect lives without having to worry about this interesting conflict.
Worth shows why she's a NYT bestselling author with the third book in the Rocky Mountain Heirs series. Cousin Arabella Clayton Michaels connects with the uncle, Dr. Jonathan Turner, of Jasmine, the young woman she took in when the girl was abandoned. A divorced mother of triplets who loves living in the country, she can't imagine why this Denver doctor would be interested in her. But he is, and Worth tells the story with a prose and plot that feel effortless.
Soooo, I really liked this book. I really love romances where the hero is a doctor and that's probably why I married one (well, amongst other reasons.) There were all kinds of positive things going on in this book: The hero, Jonathan, was a doctor! There's nothing sexier than saving a life. The heroine, Arabella, had three adorable daughters. Just adorable. There was some real plot and mystery behind the main plot line of the romance. Who is Macy's real father? She bears an uncanny resemblance to the triplets! Dun dun dun... The "inspirational" aspect of this novel was not overpowering at all and added to the plot nicely. It was certainly not preachy, which I enjoyed.
Arabella clayton is raising triplet 4 year olds and an abandoned teenage, Jasmine. Jasmine's uncle comes to meet his long lost niece and finds true love.
Lenora Worth is a NY Times bestselling author because she can make and tell an A+ story. It's super if you like clean, inspiring and heartwarming characters and values. My kind of book.
Catching up with Lenora's books on ebooks at the library. Slowly getting through. Jonathon and Arabella's story. Past issues and family name relatives in this small town. Prayers and God's ways.
Arabella had her hands full with three little girls, Jasmine, a young woman that has no family, running a baking business to make ends meet and now dealing with Jonathan. He is Jasmine' s uncle, very handsome, a doctor and it seems he wants to save the day for all. In the midst of everything her Mother she hasn't seen in ten years shows up and as always causing trouble. The book is great, a fast read.
Loved the story but the strange characters every time a word had an apostrophe in it made it difficult to read. Why would anyone publish something without editing it?
The story is great! It was a rough read since there symbols at the beginning and end of every quote. There was also an error in the name of one of the characters.
A sweet story to pass a fall afternoon with along with a hot cup of tea.
I had this book on my kindle for a while and downloaded it due to the fall scene. I didn’t realize it was part of a series. I’m on the hunt to find more of the series. Especially the last one as I want to know how it all turns out.
This is a mini ‘Books For Christian Girls’ review. It is not a full content review and will not receive one. These mini-reviews are years old and just for clarity on the rating the book received on Goodreads.

Arabella Clayton Michaels is raising 4 year-old triplet girls in tiny Clayton, CO as well as abandoned teen, Jasmine Turner. When Jasmine's previously unknown Denver surgeon uncle shows up, their worlds tilt. There's a family feud, weird estranged mom, ruined wedding dress, etc., but a happy ending!
I usually really enjoy the Love Inspired books; but this one I simply could not get into. I tried five different times to read it and I just couldn't find an actual storyline and it didn't grab me from get go. It maybe a good book but I just didn't find it interesting and so will move on to another.
I enjoyed this book. It was a good story, but the author had to keep explaining what had happened in the previous two books and now I need to find the next book in the series to find out about some of. The mysteries in this book.
Arabella with her triplets find trouble and happiness in Clayton where her family lives. Jonathan Turner shows up as Jasmine's uncle and wants to be part of the family.
