I was asked "why do you write?"
My answer was and is because writing is my passion/career/occupation/profession. Some are doctors, cab drivers, teachers, plumbers, fast food workers etc. This is what I have chosen as a way to provide for my kids. As result, I keep praying and working harder at getting better at my job. I am extremely thankful to those who have been very supportive.

An insightful book and reminder that God gives human's free will. He only wants the best for his children.

I won a copy of this book in a Goodreads giveaway and am under no obligation to review. All thoughts, opinions, and ratings are my own.

I am now passing this book along to a family member in the ministry.

Soo does anyone else know that this book is based on the relationship he had with a student when he was a high school teacher? Let's not ignore that fact.

I enjoyed reading this book every morning. I loved all the stories and the meaning behind them. God loves and respects us, so He lets us chose how we live our lives. By the grace of the Holy Spirit, He instructs us if we will only listen. He makes it simple for us. If you love Me, you will follow my way and commandments. We all find this simple command so hard to always follow. We pray for His mercy. I don't think we know where we will end up, in heaven or hell. I'm still thinking about this, because God will not interfere with our choices, but He knows everything so He already knows what we will do and where we will be.

God's Purposes and What He Does Not Know About Us is a strange book. Some of the stories were really enjoyable and I gained from them. Some of the stories weren't cogent, however. The book is a mixed bag and I don't necessarily agree with the author's conclusion.

I received this book free from Goodreads First Reads.

well i was supposed to win this book from the Goodreads Giveaways but i in fact never recieved this book. Since it's July and it was supposed to be here in March/April I think its a lost cause. I was really looking forward to reading this book too. If this book shows up at anytime i will gladly read it and give it an honest review. Sorry....

This was really a lovely, uplifting story --- even as a person who believes in God, it reminded me, taught me some new things and made me happy! What was wonderful is that none of the stories were extremely long --- and a short book can bring a lot of happiness to a lot of people!

I was prompted to give a review on this book saying I had won it in a giveaway but I never got this book. I also never got the email that says I won it. So I think the prompt to review was a mistake.

thank you

I have not had a chance to read this book at this time however I was so excited to receive it in the mail. I won this book through goodreads and can't wait to have the extra time to enjoy it. I will return in the future with a review. Again thank you for the opportunity of reviewing this book.

I won a copy of this book via a Goodreads Giveaway and here is my take on it: total mumbo jumbo.

This the work of some one with a troubled mind. Not an iota of proof or even realistic look at life.

Skip it and read a bible, at least it is a great work of fiction.
