I really enjoyed reading this book and couldn't put it down. Even if you don't believe everything in it, think about the main message: finding balance between your legitimate self-importance and the legitimate importance of everything is the spiritual facet of achieving sustainability. Some interesting points on ecological collapse and human nature. Would rate higher if it wasn’t riddled with some racist descriptions of non-white peoples.

This is a good story and there is something uplifting for the soul. It just shows how everyone one of us has a responsibility in the development and sustainability of our environment and souls.
