About the author

Françoise Dolto was a French pediatrician and psychoanalyst, famous for her research on babies and childhood. Dolto revolutionized the field of psycho-therapeutic work with babies (notably in their early experience and usage of language through their body), with the mother-baby dyad, and with a more positive observation and understanding of the means of communication used by children with learning or social disabilities.

She worked with Jacques Lacan, and said that children have a language before the language (with the body). She has contributed to the question of the unconscious body image, and influenced among others the work of Maud Mannoni.

As a recognized feminist, she also worked on reconciling women with their sexuality; she also analyzed the attitude of children when their parents are separating or divorcing.

Françoise Dolto was the mother of Carlos (1943–2008), a singer; and the sister of Jacques Marette, a minister.

Много симпатична лекция на Франсоаз Долто, в която дава някои много ясни и на места мили съвети на родителите и мисля, че изобщо на хората как да говорят и мислят за смъртта. Аз обичам много смъртта и от няколко години тя седи всеки божи ден на рамото ми и ме кара да живея по-добре. В тази лекция ми допада, че без да се впуска в каквито и да било морални, религиозни и други спекулации, Долто говори от гледната точка на това, което знаем за смъртта тук и сега, но това определено е врата, през която ще минем и в това няма нищо страшно. Говори дори и за възкресението през един друг поглед като цяло ми дойде добре да я изслушам, докато тичах днес :-)

Първо истинско сблъскване с Фрасоаз Долто. Харесвам аналитици фокусирани върху детското психично. Харесвам и така НЕбезсмисленото съществуване, което често е плод на въображението на философи като Камю. Долто говори за вълновия ефект, в който Ялом също вярва. Макар и различни гледни точки - Долто, намесваща вярата и очакването след смъртта, а Ялом - Епикурейското "изчезване". Падат защити що се отнася до психоаналитична литература, а тя искрено си ги проси!

Обичам факта, че книгата е кратка и разбираемо написана, така че през цялото време човек има усещането, че води диалог. Кара те наистина да се замислиш относно разсъжденията върху смъртта.
