Gertie and Edna have been caring for a stray cat they call Sylvester. A woman named Emily appears on their doorstep claiming to be the cat’s owner. After Emily leaves with the cat, Edna becomes suspicious. With Theodore, she spies on Emily and they see some very troublesome activity. I liked the main characters and enjoyed this short humorous mystery.
