GREAT book for getting out of the victim mentality and taking responsibility for your reactions and disciplining your thoughts and finding solutions! Need to read this once a year! And it's a Christian book!

I LOVE this book....it explains why you don't get the results you wish and it has NOTHING to do with WHAT you are doing but rather how and what you are thinking! Powerful life-changer! HIHGLY recommended!

After going to Klemmer and Associates Personal Mastery weekend I ordered a few of Brian Klemmer’s books. Reading this one first has ignited my fire and is helping me build upon what I started in the Personal Master Class. My favorite take away is the part in chapter 9 or 10 where he talks about living in the first day and last day mentality. The book is gold and anyone looking to change their lives should read it.

Great book! Very inspirational. Read it straight through the first time, taking lots of notes. Now reading it through one chapter at a time as recommended. When we get back to normal life .. or if the Klemmer Institute takes their conferences/seminars online .. I will definitely attend. So glad I won this gem at an auction. It was what I needed, when I needed it :)

Some notes:

"The secret of life is that your subconscious belief systems make most of your decisions for you.

"The formula of champions is intention + mechanism = result. A true intention is clear, strong, powerful, deep, strong and focused. When the intent is clear a mechanism will appear.

"Bigger intent trumps smaller intent. The solution to resentment is to give. The solution to fear is to take honest action. The solution to guilt is to fight fair by not swearing, using code words to cool things down, and timed arguments.

"Responsibility is a tool to get things done. To think is to create by challenging beliefs and forming clear visualizations.

"Visualize clearly by first visualizing where you are at today and where you aim, see it as it is now, see it as you desire it.

"The role of consciousness is to choose what problems are solved by the subconscious.

"Wisdom lies in having a passionate why, and wisdom trumps prudence.

"What are ten things you would do if it were you last day on the planet? Your first day?"

That's the meat of this book. It's pretty okay.

Quite frankly, this book has been a revelation. The author's advice is pure common sense if you sift through it all, but it's common sense that's lacking or obscured or worded oddly in other similar guides.

Really, it's the literary version of having cold water thrown over a sleeper. To say it's a wake-up call would be trite, but that's precisely what this book is. I can't recommend it enough.

It is all about how we need to "be", not just learn how. Example if i look in the mirror everyday and tell myself, "i am fat!", it would not matter how many how to books i read on how to get skinny...
