Raised in the foothills of the mystical Blue Ridge Mountains, I attribute my love of beautiful landscapes, and fascination with all things paranormal, to my environment. The settings and characters in my novels reflect my appreciation for natural beauty, as well as a desire to explore the what-if’s of things unseen. Throw in a degree in Psychology, paired with a strong interest in the workings of the criminally insane mind, and you have a breeding ground for a psychological thriller.

Becoming an author was not a conscious decision; I've always been a writer. Channeling a passion for story-telling into my livelihood required a giant leap of faith, one that I'll never regret as I truly love what I do.

When I'm not writing, I enjoy antiquing, bead-weaving and sharing time with my incredible daughter and our two spoiled-rotten cats.

I really enjoyed that this is an adult novel, but not in the sexual sense. It’s very well written, with a little romance, but it’s not over the top and it’s a very clean read. While there is a serial killer on the loose, Grace spares her readers the gruesome details, leaving it all to the imagination, which, in my opinion, is sometimes more graphic than actually putting it in words, depending on the reader. It is refreshing to read a well-written psychological thriller that not only glues the reader to the pages as it unfolds, but also keeps the plotline wholesome. I love this genre, but very often I find that this type of writing gives too many bloody details, or revolves around a character’s sexual fantasies, and those things tend to make me ill. Fate doesn’t do either, focusing mainly on Kris and her precognition as she comes to terms with her stalker.

What starts out as a routine story about three friends quickly turns into one woman’s nightmare as she is targeted by a relentless serial killer. The fact that Kris’ pre-cognition tips her off that something terrible is coming deepens the suspense within the novel, and I really enjoyed it. While I wasn’t sure where the story was headed in the very beginning, Grace quickly makes it clear as she sets up the background for the story through a sleepover at Kris’s secluded beach home. Friends Roni and Cassie are more or less minor characters, but they help set the tone of the story prior to the plot thickening and the imminent danger being revealed.

I really liked that Kris didn’t attempt to battle her stalker all on her own. This isn’t one of those silly horror stories where the main character is too stubborn to ask for help. While Kris originally chalks up her premonitions to paranoia, when it becomes clear to her that she is in real danger, she seeks help. This adds to the believability of the novel, and made me really like Kris as a character. Although she is pre-cognitive, adding a paranormal feel to this novel, she isn’t stubborn and she makes logical choices, first alerting her dreamy neighbor, Nick, and then the police. The cast of characters that Grace presents here are extremely interesting and easily likeable, all except the stalker, Damien, and I thoroughly enjoyed having an insider’s view into his mind as it allows the reader to see just how much of a twisted genius he really is.

This novel is a roller coaster ride of emotion, leaving the reader in constant suspense as s/he knows what’s coming, but not when it will happen. This is a truly great read, and with a little more editing and fine-tuning in terms of the few grammatical errors and typos, this story will be perfect. Overall, I am very impressed by this first novel in the trilogy, and will definitely be reading the next two novels, Spellbound and Destiny, especially as each sequel will focus on a different heroine. In Fate, Roni and Cassie are only side characters, and the reader learns just enough about them to whet the appetite, but there is room for them to grow. And it looks like that is exactly what Grace plans to do, giving both Roni and Cassie their own novel in this trilogy. I can’t wait...

So I got this book because it was marketed as a paranormal romantic suspense . . . sounded good to me. As an avid reader of paranormal romance and as someone who's come around to romantic suspense's it sounded like the perfect combination. With that being said let me line out my issues

1) Having the same precognitive dream and three visions in the entire book does not make it paranormal ( in my opinion) when I think paranormal I want a book with vamps, werewolves, shifters, wraith, even fairies and Angels can be fun you know all that good stuff.

2) Where was the romance? A few kisses here and there and nothing more? Come on I like a little depth to my romance novels telling us about the amazing three day long sex the two character had back in college when they were dating which was ten years earlier doesn't do anything for me especially when that's exactly as it was described no heat just simply telling us "yeah they had amazing long weekends locked in her dorm room" I'm bored . . . sorry .

3) The writing was a little irritating the author seemed to have trouble with quotations you'll find quite a few spots that sound like dialogue but there are no quotations but the next character will respond with quotations. It can get irritating and confusing.

finally I will say that had this book been promoted properly and I had gone into
it with different expectations I might have liked it better if you're not overly concerned by the amount of Paranormal or Romance in your Paranormal Romance books then you might enjoy this one if you like a good Paranormal with lots of Romance there are plenty of other good low cost and free books you can try.

The most unrealistic and unprofessional portrayal of law enforcement ever... I think this book is a perfect example of why I stick with historical romances. I can forgive taking leeway with historical events, but I find it incredibly hard to believe that a cop or an FBI agent is just going to sit down for pizza and spill his (or her) entire life story after just meeting someone that day, especially when that someone is the person they're supposed to be protecting. Unprofessional much? Yeah.

The protagonist Kris seems to have it all: a house on the beach outside of Charleston, South Carolina, a rewarding job as a video editor, and two best friends Veronica (Roni) and Cassie who are always there for her. She also has the unusual gift of being precognitive. All of her life she has had premonitions in the form of dreams or visions of events to come. With this gift, she has the power to step in and alter the outcome of these premonitions.

As the story opens, readers learn that Kris has been having nightmarish dreams in which she is a participant. This has never happened to her before and puts her on guard. She can’t seem to shake the feeling that she is being watched. However, she dismisses these feelings even though she is being constantly observed. Unknowingly, she has a stalker named Damien.

[image error] photo stalker_zps3d2286a6.jpg

He is obsessed with his new “beauty” and is unable to resist the temptation to introduce himself to Kris while she is walking along the beach. Kris’s intuition tells her this man may be dangerous when she shakes his hand:

“Kris dropped his hand like it was hot. Her senses were suddenly on full alert. Trying to be casual, she turned and started walking away, more quickly than necessary. A small voice was telling her to run, but she ignored it.”

Initially, Kris tries to ignore all of the signs that she is being stalked, even when Damien moves beyond merely watching her. He begins leaving her roses on her doorstep and car, making late night phone calls telling her they will be together soon, and even breaking into her house to install video cameras, so she is constantly under his surveillance.

[image error] photo manwithrose_zps959e978b.jpg

The author provides Damien’s point-of-view to provide insight into his twisted mind. However, I think the story line would have been stronger if readers weren’t given access to his perspective. His character is a clichéd villain. He never provides any real understanding of his motives for kidnapping and killing or why he chooses Kris to become his latest “beauty.” Although his thoughts do indicate his obsessive nature, they also contribute to the predictability of the plot.

In the midst of this drama, the author expands the story line to include a romance that ensues between Kris and her old college love, Nick. Fate has intervened through Nick buying the house next door to Kris, thus reuniting the couple. As they meet over an initial dinner, the reason for their breakup is revealed. In the past, miscommunication caused each of them to feel betrayed by the other. Now, their honesty with each other opens the door for a potential future together. I, somewhat, expected that they would continue to keep their bitterness about the breakup to themselves, creating further conflict between them. I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to discover what really happened in the past and move beyond it, realizing that now they have been given a second chance ten years later.

The story progresses with Nick becoming more prominent in Kris’s life. As they spend more time together, it is obvious the two want to be together.

[image error] photo myheartcanttellyouno_zpse62b04dc.jpg

Unfortunately, the chemistry and sexual tension that so often enhances a romance is lacking between these two. Both characters want to move slowly in the relationship to see how much has changed between them, and this may contribute to that lack of “heat” that I hoped to be present.

I really liked Kris as a heroine. She faces reality head on instead of living in denial. Once she realizes she has a stalker, she confides in Nick and doesn’t hesitate to involve the police. She also has the foresight to learn to use a gun for protection, keeping it with her at all times. I also appreciate the fact that, overall, both Kris and Nick listen to police investigator, Dylan, who is in charge of Kris’s case.

Once Dylan discovers Damien is a serial killer, he brings in the FBI. Now, even though I am by no means an expert in police procedure, I did find fault with some aspects of how the FBI handled catching this killer. One primary example of this is allowing Kris stay with her friend, Cassie, instead of going to an undisclosed safe house. Investigators are already aware that Kris has been to visit Cassie in the past, and Damien could know of Cassie’s location since he has been stalking Kris. Even though Kris does have an agent to protect her during her stay at Cassie’s, the agent stays in a guest bedroom and goes to sleep, as well, at bedtime. Damien’s profile has revealed that his MO is to kidnap victims in the middle of the night while they are asleep, so it is unbelievable to me that the agent would fail to stay awake and guard Kris.

One aspect of the book that I most enjoyed was the periodic visions that Kris experienced. They were descriptive enough to foreshadow events to come, yet also elusive enough to prevent the particulars of the plot to be exposed and keep readers in suspense as to when the events will occur and how much Kris can alter the outcome of these premonitions before they become reality.

Overall, I am glad I read the book. Another editing would have cleaned up some minor grammatical errors, but they are few and did not distract me from the reading experience. The ending seemed abrupt to me and after such a climatic outcome, I didn’t expect to move straight into an epilogue, but the author does provide resolution. In Fate, the author provides enough details to interest me in reading the rest of the trilogy, with each book focusing on Roni’s and Cassie’s stories respectively.

I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

I received this book for free from the author in exchange for a review.

Timeless Trilogy, Book One: Fate is just as the title says, the first of three books in the trilogy. That seems obvious enough doesn't it? The following two books are Spellbound and Destiny, respectively. All three titles focus on three friends who each have a touch of paranormal in their life (precognitive, spells/herbs, and past lives).

Fate is Kris' story. All of her life Kris has been precognitive, though in the past all of her visions focused on other people. For the first time, her visions are about her own future and it's not necessarily an enjoyable experience. Kris has a stalker/serial killer who is hot on her trail and looking to make her his latest "beauty". Enter the police, the FBI, and Nick (who is not only Kris' new neighbor but a guy from her college days).

Fate starts with a gripping prologue where Kris and her stalker meet face-to-face. It gruesome to say, but the serial stalker/killer scenes are the best part. The normal interactions between the characters come across as forced, it's like watching a show where you can tell the people are acting. It just doesn't feel natural. However, as stated, the serial killer parts are riveting. He's twisted!

The other aspect that made Fate a difficult read was the fact that there didn't seem to be a lot of editing. There were sections where the dialogue was mixed in with the narration and wasn't properly punctuation, it trips the reader up and causes you to backpedal through sentences to figure out where you mis-read something.

In the end, Fate was a quick and interesting read that got a lower rating because it's "technical difficulties" made it hard to become fully engaged in the story.

This is really a 2.5 star rating....

The basic premise is good--and the sort of quick read I typically enjoy, but somehow this fell short. I liked the descriptions of the setting. I also liked the main characters--Kris and Nick were well developed and I really liked that the misunderstanding didn't lurk about for ages and ages; it was brought to light and dealt with. It bugs me when otherwise intelligent characters have a simple miscommunication that it seems should be easily seen and corrected--this story was not indulgent in that way.

I had to double check to see if this was another self-published book and I don't think it is--however there were lots of there/their type errors in the book (more typical for self-published because spellcheck won't catch them). The dialogue in the beginning of the book seemed stilted to me, although that did improve. I also was not impressed with the villain--he seemed cliche. Maybe I've read too many crime novels, but nothing here was a surprise to me. The supernatural aspect was well-woven into the story and, I thought, added to it nicely.

There are more books in this series. Even though I liked the characters, I would not go out of my way to find the books. On the other hand, if they magically appeared in my Kindle; at some point I'd read them when I wanted something that didn't require much thought.

Kris has two great friends in Roni and Grace. She lives in a beach house with her cat Pegasus. Her job is going great and an old flame moves into the empty beach house next door. Can everything really be this good? Maybe not. Kris is a precognitive. So when she starts having disturbing dreams she can’t get past the feeling that something just isn’t right. Kris finds out that she should always trust her feelings. Her feelings for her old flame Nick are being rekindled just as someone unexpected sets their sights on her. Kris discovers that she is the latest obsession of a stalker/serial killer. Can her visions help her in time or will Nick lose her a second time?
I loved this fabulous story. This book was a page turner that hooked me from page one. There was just the right amount of suspense to keep me on the edge of my seat. Tallulah Grace wrote some good characters that I want to continue to read about. Now that the story of Kris is complete I can’t wait to read Roni and Grace’s stories. They are sure to be just a wonderful as this one was. I am sold and think everyone should buy into these stories. The Timeless Trilogy is sure to please all.

Probably 4 1/2 .... I enjoyed the characters in this book. This is the first in a trilogy and I am planning on reading the other two. Just enough romance to make it fun, the stalker is written well enough that you get the creeps from him and his actions. I would have liked to know about his action that caused his family to disown him ... what started everything. But, finished the book in less than 24 hours so have to say I was drawn into this one quickly. The friendship of the three women is believable though the fast connection with Jerry is somewhat believable, a bit fast for me. The existence of precognition is something I believe in as is fate.
All in all an enjoyable read.

Very suspenseful plot with some romance, but it was too slow for me. I liked the suspense though, it was intriguing and you’ll want to know what will happen next. I liked the paranormal aspect of the plot, even if it didn’t seem very helpful here.

I wished the editing had been better; misplaced punctuation and misspelled words really breaks up the flow. As a suspense, this story reads well and pretty believable. Nice little romance.

If Kris and Nick had been dating for 3 years and both supposedly in love with each other, why did neither come forward when things changed? I can't imagine a couple not doing that.

Kris thinking she mainly wanted to take things slowly because she wasn't sure if her and Nick were still compatible, was just plain stupid.

After Kris has the vision of Nick taped and hurt to a chair, she says that it smelled like dead fish and mildew. How would anyone even consider the room to be a basement? I didn't really understand that. Why would someone's basement smell like fish? Stupid question but still.

Given the fact that Dylan figured Kris's stalker was Damien, a serial killer, how did he not know about the hidden cameras sooner?

There's a point when Dylan has to leave suddenly and ends up passing his gun to Nick. Why? Wouldn't that be against some protocol or something? I mean Kris still has her gun, why not just get that?

Kris tells Dylan and Nick about her vision involving someone driving scared in the rain. When Dylan asks her how she knows that it's in fact Dylan driving and not her, she responds by saying that she saw his eyes when he looked in the rear view mirror. His eyes? Not his face?

How would they think that Damien would be stupid enough to know something was going on? First there's a cop hanging around the place, then (I forgot her name) the female FBI agent, Kris sleeping in the guest room. Then suddenly they think it's a good idea for her to stay with Cassie and use a double in her place. Yes, having someone that is the same height as Kris will definitely work. Damien will ignore the fact that he will no longer see her face, her movements and all will be different, and all her friends will suddenly not be around any longer. Yes, we already know Damien isn't that smart considering he's killed a bunch of girls and has been doing so for 12 years now leaving no dna or anything. Yup, he won't suspect a thing. (Yes, I'm being sarcastic.)

The fact that when Nick suddenly disappears for a business thing, and no one really questions it, again very stupid! Given all the stuff that's going on and Kris's vision of him being taped up and all...

In the end... well I hated the ending. Of course I like the happily ever after kind of endings but this was too much. I mean it just seemed way to easy for Dylan to find Damien's car and the warehouse he was using. Then he's basically shot dead before he's really done anything and... The End. Just too fast of an ending. There's all this build up and then suddenly it's all over. The ending definitely fell flat for me. Considering all we knew of Damien, it's like the author realized she had to wrap of the book and this was it.

We also knew that Damien's family knew he had some issues from the start. It's not really explained what all they knew but they helped him out of some trouble. They end up basically disowning him. So when they come forward to claim the body, very surprising there. And how did they have sudden control over his trust fund again? And how did they never know that Damien was still doing bad things and not come forward?

Anyways, this was alright read. Kinda slow for my liking though, but at least it was a fast read. I won't be moving on with this series though.

May have slight spoilers.

In this novel we meet Kris, her two best friends, Roni and Cassie; Nick her ex-collage love who has after ten years believing her betrayal and her his, found the truth under lies and have been reunited as he moves in next door. It seems like fate but they soon a serial killer is stalking Kris (or Krissy to Nick) and they must fight harder than ever in a seemingly helpless situation to be together.

We also meet Dylan, a police officer and ex-FBI whom we learn only a little about but I have hope that he may be in the next book in this trilogy so we can learn about his past.

I really liked Kris as a character, she was likeable, caring of her friends and you could really feel the connection between the three; almost as if they had been together for life instead of just since collage--ten years.

Nick, I also liked he earned points as a character in my opinion for being able to cook; I do love a male character who is comfortable in the kitchen. ;) Also you could tell even if it were not for having some of his point-of-view that he really cared for Kris even after the years that had gone by since they last seen each other.

I have to admit that at first I was disappointed that I may not be able to really get into this novel. Not because of the plot, which I liked, but because of the switching between characters so unexpectedly. One minute we might be on Kris's point-of-view the next we may have Nick's, Roni's, or even Dylan's point-of-view and so on.

Like I said at first it bothered me, but after reading a little I found that I got used to it and kind of liked knowing what was going on in her friends head’s.

Another thing, not something that really bothered me per-se but something I thought would have made the novel even more suspenseful is if we had not had so much of our bad guy's point-of-view. It was interesting but at the same time, again I think it would have made the novel more suspenseful if we had not had so much of his POV or at least not so much information from him when it was. Maybe if it had been slight snippets--but we really get a lot of information from him that in my opinion took away from the novel at points while reading.

Overall though I did enjoy the read it was a good first novel in the trilogy, giving us a lot of information about our next main characters in the next two, Roni and Cassie and I look forward to learning what will become of them.

Fate (Timeless Trilogy #1)
by Tallulah Grace (Goodreads Author)

(Synopsis from Goodreads)

"Is precognition a prescription for happiness or disaster?

The good things in life are coming together for Kristina Collins. She’s found her ideal home, her career is on track for mega success and the man of her dreams has finally come back into her life.

In Fate, the first installment of the Timeless Trilogy, Kris Collins discovers the benefits and risks of having precognitive visions while being stalked by a serial killer. Her friends can’t help her, the FBI can’t save her; she must save herself"

I absolutely loved Fate. Kris is an intelligent, successful, and strong woman. She has a stable head on her shoulders and just happens to have precognitive visions. The story is primarily focused on Kris's life, her current peril (as already detailed in the synopsis), and is full of action and suspense. There were times in reading that I would have a thought of would the FBI really do that? But I think creative license is a beautiful thing and adds to the suspense. Fate also introduces us to two of Kris' best friends who are featured in the following two installments in this trilogy and you find yourself wanting to know more about them as well, not to mention there is an eighteen pound attack cat named Pegasus that you have to love. You have a bad guy that gives you the creeps, a love interest that you want to swoon over, and a setting out of a dream; think beach house on the ocean, oh yeah. I enjoyed the writing style and feel the story was complete, albeit short being about 158 pages. For me it was a short sweet read that left me feeling good at the end and looking forward to the next installment of the trilogy. It should also be noted that each installment in the series is similar in length and all of the books the trilogy have been released. I also noted that the author has recently released the complete trilogy under one cover in ebook format, so if you want the complete trilogy all at once it is available. Definitely recommend this book.

Our heroine in this book is Kris, a woman who is rather sucessful in her career and is helping her friend to get further with her own career. However Kris also has a special ability, one that she has always had since she was a little girl, being able to see visions; however her two college friends are aware of that fact and believe her visions to always be true, no matter how strange it seems because they have seen them come true.
Her visions can't help her with a serial murderer whose set his sights on her, claiming her to be his 'Beauty'. Add in an old boyfriend from years ago that she was getting over and you have a lot of excitement in this book.

Kris is a rather... She's interesting to a point, she's successful and the visions she has should make her a unique character, but everyone just loves her, policemen, FBI agents, EVERYONE just loves being around her and they all believe her abilities. When we are in the first few chapters of the book and Kris is with her friends Roni and Cassie she seems like an interesting character, not about to talk any BS from anyone, although she states it more delicately in a certain scene.
And then it all goes down hill from there. The visions that she gets only appear every so often, while I don't expect her to have a vision a lot, I didn't actually think her visions were really needed in this book, there didn't really add much aside from a link between all three book that the author has penned.
Nick is Kris' love interest and to be honest he became really bland as well, he started so strong, when the two were interacting over his sunburn and then? Well he just got really predictable.

The book is aimed at being a supernatural and I think there is a loose link between them all, but was it needed? I didn't think so, the supernatural element was more of a side piece of information than anything of particular interest to the reader and it could have easily been a good story without it.

Apart from that it was a good read, thrilling and the romance was kept at bay, so it didn't flood the pages.

I am so glad I stumbled upon this little Gem!

Kris is a refreshingly stable character and has great support around her in the way of two friends she has had with her since college, Roni and Cassie. Though Kris has a little quirk, she is a Precognitive, she sees flashes of the future which may, or may not depending on decisions made, happen with days or weeks of her seeing it. I was very glad the writer did not hang on this detail, it was written in to the book as if it were completely normal. It is a natural ability she was born with.

Kris has quite an idealistic life, she lives by the beach, owns a company that, with the help of Roni's herbal inventions, is growing. She is a very beautiful woman and it is this fact that catches the attention of a stalker who we learn much about and is a very bad piece of work. He creeped me out, that was for sure.

The book follows Kris as she tries to deal with knowing she is being watched, recieving creepy phone calls and having quick visions of the future that puts her friends in danger and Nick, the man she fell for in college and is re-untied with a quarter way through the book.

What I liked most about this book was it was not overly dramatic. Kris is mentally and emotionally strong and copes with the situation very well. I also loved the understated romance with Nick, the evil stalker and the supporting characters such as Dylan and Jerry. They all added great personalities to the story and hope we hear more from them throughout the trilogy.

My only problem was the abrupt ending. It had lent it self to a climax that could have been chilling, painful and incredibly suspensful. I felt it ended too soon and I would have liked to have seen more of a stuggle there.

I cant wait to read the second book in the series. Great book :)

So this wasnt a bad book...I liked it for the most part...This book is about Kris, a psychic, and her run in with danger. The story line was a good one and it did keep me engaged but I feel like certain things were missing. Kris had a few visions through out the story but most of them seemed pointless to me like it was just thrown in to say she used them. The ending was a a bit of a let down I expected more of a bang as far as catching the bad guy went. I do plan to read the other books in the series as i would like to know more about Roni and Cassie and see where their stories go but I wnt rushing to read them

Oops. I was digging through my Reviews folder and found this mentioned. Apparently it was a review copy (which I got for free from the reviewer who declined it).

Pretty good formatting and spell checking for an indie e-book, I remember being pleasantly surprised.

The story is fairly predictable, but in romance that's not really a minus -- girl meets boy, they face adversity/are separated (bonus -- this had BOTH these plot points!), they overcome, they live happily ever after in a committed relationship.

The writing was good enough that I only noticed ~the writing~ once or twice. My issue with most indie books is that the writing is bad enough to make me notice the words rather than the story. This book didn't suffer from that.

I did think it could stand to be a little longer, and the foreshadowing of the romances to come in the other two books of the trilogy was a bit heavy-handed at times. All in all, a fluffy, fun little romance for fans of old-school Harlequin romances; sex is minimal and tame. Not quite enough heft to be a beach read -- more like a commuter read; something you can pick up and put down while on the train or bus and not worry about missing something if your attention wanders a little occasionally.

3.5/5 (I rounded up since GR wouldn't let me give half a star).

Kris, Roni and Cassie have been friends for a very long time. They each have jobs they love but friends come first. Kris finally found a home on the beach and so she moved into her dream home. Her life is going well and she's very successful. Kris is producing a new show and she has an idea for a weekly show. It's about this time strange things start happening. She is certain someone is watching her but she hasn't seen them yet. The one bright side? Her friend and ex-boyfriend Nicholas Evans is her new neighbor.

I found a trilogy you are gonna love. This thriller has a bit of a dark side but it's well written and the characters are relatable. Ms. Grace does a fantastic job of weaving this story around you. She pulls you right in and gets you comfy before she lets you have it! I enjoyed the fact Nicholas and Kris were neighbors again. Such possibilities.

I found no issues.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because I loved it. ~Copy of book provided by author in exchange for a fair review~

I really enjoyed that this book. It gives the reader space to use their imagination by not expounding on graphic details of previous murders and events. A serial killer has found a new target in Kris, an independent woman building her career. As Kris spends time with friends, reconnects with an old flame, and works to advance her career Damien watches her every move. His new ‘beauty’ consumes him. He carefully constructs his method of taking her. Timing is everything. Kris’s precognitive dreams forewarn her of danger and as the calls begin she contacts the police. With protective measures in place they soon find that Damien knows their every move (almost). I enjoyed the fact that Kris’s friends are not women to take lightly. This provides a nice ending to the story. I am sure each of her friends will have equally good stories concerning their own lives. I look forward to discovering them!

This first book in the Timeless Trilogy was both action packed and not lacking in the supernatural. The story starts with our main female character being stalked by a serial killer. She is also somewhat claravoiant and senses some of the danger. The story gives enough background and detail about her close , sister like relationship with her 2 best friends to provide plenty to look forward to in the 2nd & 3rd book as well.

As fate would have it, her old true love becomes her new neighbor. Old flames are trying to rekindle while an agent comes into her life to try to protect her and capture the killer who is also responsible for other women's deaths. I like that we also get to hear the killer's plans and thoughts along the way.

This is an exciting, suspenseful read for anyone who enjoys mystery, friendship, love stories... There's a little something for everyone here.

Really enjoyed this book, another one i couldn't seem to put down! I was so buzzed after reading this i couldnt sleep lol.
We meet Kris (short for Krissy) who has had visions all her life. She lives in a beautiful secluded beach front property, which is her little patch of heaven. That is until she meets "Damien" on the beach and flowers are left on her car and on her doorstep. Kris is being stalked by a serial killer and suddenly her beautiful home is no longer a little patch of heaven.
A Romantic interest arrives in the form of "Nick", a former boyfriend from school who just happens to move into the empty property next to hers. Now he has found her again after 10 years he will do anything from losing her again, but with Kris in a serial killer's sight how long can he keep her from his clutches?

The premise is intriguing which is why I got the book.
BUT.....it was pretty boring and kind of a big let down. I understand that there are 2 more books and possibly some of the stories will be explained but to be honest I would rather knit a scarf (and I hate knitting) than read them.
***possibly a spoiler***
Still confused about the dream part???
The ending was a big letdown, such a buildup and then it is just over.
Characters were very boring.
And seriously in real life how many people befriend random police officer who answers your call. And reading this book made me doubt the competency of our police officers. Who not only are unable to do their job and protect a person who is in danger of being MURDERED by a complete psycho but apparently spend time on duty having beer and spilling their life-story to a complete stranger.
