I loved the style that this was written in---also loved the absolute lack of "program speak"/robotic AA talk/assumption of your Christianity. Just gets down to business without making you feel like you've been beaten about the head and shoulders with a King James edition of the Bible.
A little too self consciously "hip" perhaps, but but the plainspoken language is a strong antidote to the sometimes overwhelming clinical jargon common to the recovery industry nowadays. well researched and clearly written in a Q&A style based on Bill's radio show. It's an entertaining and informative read for anyone curious about the life of an alcoholic.
