Like many of the popular business and marketing books I've read, this one is easy to read and has several ideas and techniques that are immediately applicable to my situation. After a few months or so, I'll likely review some of the chapters and see what I need to review and what I need to begin using.

Can I say that a marketing book is inspiring? Why not? I found this to be inspiring as well as informative and empowering. Out of 101 marketing ideas probably 78 of those fit me and my business. now that is a high return on investment.
Short, bite-sized chapters with good tips for the entrepreneur starting out. Some of the chapters get into the weeds of email marketing and such, but most of it the book is very helpful.
Learned tons of tips, with my favorites below: 1) Google's Free Keyword Tool -adwords.google.com/select/keywordtool... a. helps you find the most used keywords for your subject, ex. blogs 2) Get Found on Search Engines -collab with people who have pages that are older with the highest views, to boost views to your website -send testimonials to everything you do, and sign it with your name, picture, and website 3) Have a Press Kit Ready on Demand (some media outlets need it) -A basic bio about key players and a summary of your business, it's products, and achievements. -Company logo -Copies of any articles or TV spots you've appeared in -A fact sheet listing out important dates, products, events etc. This includes date founded, dates of major product releases, dates of gathering, etc -Photos of anything they can use -Sample YouTube videos -Your story. Give them the story they need -Basic contact for every key contact in your organization 4) Holding contests to boost exposure -Can encourage readers to leave a comment on a blog article, Instagram photo, or Tweet. 5) Presentations -Use slides to highlight what speaker is saying, never read from the slides - Have a printout of all your slides nearby so that you can easily jump or skip slides if necessary. -Fewer slides are always better -At the end of the presentation, provide a way for people to contact you -The more interactive the webinar is, the more likely your viewers are engaged. 6) Misc. -To find books in your niche, look at Amazon at the top selling books

I think this is a timely book especially for the small businessperson who is just getting started with online marketing. The book offers some great tips that can help you work with a minimal budget. I thought the author covered the section on email marketing very thoroughly and any newbie would understand the concepts on newsletter creation, customized and automated emails.
The book also offers useful tips on blogging and using content to market your product. I was impressed by the book's great coverage of YouTube marketing; not many books have covered this area as sufficiently as is required. I highly recommend this book to any newbie marketer looking for cost effective methods of marketing their product/services online.
Jim Cockrum provides a great amount of free marketing tips in this book. As a new author, I have learned that marketing is half my job. Also as a new author, my budget is very limited to begin. Therefore, this book came about at the right time for me. I have only begun using some of Cockrum's initial tips and have seen growth in my business. I would recommend this book to anyone who has an online business.
I loved this book. Maybe it was just that I identified with the entrepreneurial tone of the narrative that ties the book together, but I found this book very helpful. It has a clear format broken into bite sized chunks and many marketing tips presented in easy to action steeps. I will be following several suggestion's from this book.
A+ - Cockrum is a pure marketing genius. Many of his ideas from this book are very applicable both on and off line. He also gives great examples of real life people making money online and not just by teaching how to make money on line but by doing whatever they are passionate about. I listened to it on audio but went right out and bought the hardback for reference.
I thought I might resell this book once I read it, but instead, this book is a keeper that I know I'll return to over and over. It's an amazing resource that is full of great ideas that have sparked even more ideas. Best book for marketing in 2014!
This book is written by a real practitioner, someone who actually did it. It offers lots and lots of ideas. If you're interested in learning how to do more marketing online this is a very helpful read.
Easy to get through...offered things that I had read in other books. I appreciate the depth so there was plenty I could pick and use from that applied to my business.
This book mentioned so many new ideas to me that I had to finish it. When my father told me to get educated on social media, I knew that this was a great start.
