View book trailer - http://bit.ly/oKuKKs "The White Gorilla and the Three Chimpanzees...a day from the zoo," is an adventure picture book about how the ape and his friends visit the "human world" only to find themselves mistaken for other characters. This adventure book will surely keep your child guessing beyond his or her imagination.
I graduated with a Master's Degree in Literacy at Dowling College. I discovered my love for writing children's books at Suffolk Community College where I earned my Associate's Degree in Arts and my Bachelor's Degree at St. Joseph's College majoring in Child Study.
I will first like to give a review by my ten year old grand daughter followed by mine. Danielle: I liked the book and it was filled with learning lesons on how people are afraid of animals and the animals have the same sense of fear towards them. The Gorilla had a magical cane that could be used against humans if they posed a threat. They enjoyed going to the party and to a festival and they played many games with the children and the parents because the people thought that they were dressed up in costumes. Based on my reading, at one to ten I give the book a seven or an eight.
Barbara: I thought that the book was great. The thought of seeing a gorilla driving a car and the many games that they played with the parents and children was interesting. The cane could only be used towards humans only if the humans was a threat towards them, that is why they were taken back to the zoo. Truly a great read.
