Makoto develops an interest in Kotonoha, and although they both take the same train to school, she seems to be unaware of his existence. One of his classmates, Sekai, gets the two together despite holding strong feelings towards Makoto.

School Days, ah such a controversial anime with a nice boat. I just couldn't resist this manga when I spotted it. I was curious would it follow the same story as the anime? Or the game? Or something different? I have to say that after reading this I like Makoto manga more than Makoto anime. He dares to say no to Sekai who is a clingy girl who needs to understand for once he has a girlfriend and he is happy with her. Yes, it is awkward to see Kotonoha and Makoto together, but it is also really sweet. I was happy to see how he reacted to Sekai when she did that at the last chapter.
I wasn't already a fan of Sekai in the anime, but it seems she became 50 times worse. She is clingy, she knows that she is hurting Makoto but continues to do what she does, she even kisses him twice which just pissed me off. Girl, I get you like the guy, but really? He has a girl. He is taken. Either wait for him to be free again, or find someone else. Don't be so annoying.
I am a bit worried about Kotonoha. How will she react in this adaptation? And will Makoto be able to stop doing what he did in the anime?
The art is at times a bit dicey. Proportions are just weird and off.
I will eventually combine Volume 1 and 2 together in a review on my blog.

Pues sí, es una historia típica de “amor" y traición de instituto con un final (distinto al del anime) que solo busca shockear al lector.

School days es una historia que parece sencilla, o mas bien, trabaja con elementos sencillos, la escuela, ver una chica que te gusta, tener que hablarle, te engañan, algo que no es nuevo encontrar en series, pero uno con School Days, no lo siente así, porque cada elemento con que trabajan lo llevan a su máximo potencial, es una historia bien trabajada. No es una historia cargada de reflexiones, pero sin duda es un entretenimiento de calidad y lo disfrute.
Llevan los sentimientos de manera intensa, en el sentido de, por ejemplo, cuando el protagonista se sienta con la chica que le gusta come todo lo que ella preparo con ansiedad. Cosas que te hacen sentir de verdad lo que ellos sienten por muy ligero que sea. Y por esto mismo, cuando al principio te hacen sentir esas pequeñas cosas, al final con cosas que son mas fuertes, te destrozaran.
Hay mucha polémica en los personajes por los lectores y los que vieron el manga. Yo nunca pude tener un personaje que apoyar, me parece que todos tenían argumentos buenos y malos que iban con sus personalidades y principios que los hicieron hacer lo que hicieron, por lo que se me hace difícil tener preferencia.
El final muchos lo interpretan como perfecto, los sensibles, solo buscan otros finales alternativos (que hay 21, y por sierto todos son pesimos), otros dicen que fue un corte demasiado brusco. Yo de verdad no tengo palabras, es impactante, no deja ningún mensaje sobre la historia, es odio y locura cuando habíamos empezado con ternura. Sin duda necesitare años de terapia para superarlo. Es una historia que en el principio atrapa a los sensibles para luego estrujarles el corazón hasta sacarle todo el jugo.
Esta es una historia que va el amor o el odio , no hay en el medio. Como se puede ver , me encanta esta serie. Compare con el anime , me gusta el manga mucho mejor. Se hizo el personaje de Makotos mucho más agradable . También cuando se trata de la trampa (sí , este manga es sobre hacer trampa ) que sólo engañó con Sekai , mientras que en el anime que acaba de tomar todo lo que tenía una falda. Cosa que es demasiado exagerado ya que son niños de 7mo.
La trama es muy diferente a cualquiera del genero de escuelas y , por tanto, el final también es diferente. Otra diferencia importante que tenemos es que en el manga no tenemos sexo. Qué poco me dio un alivio , ya que el anime fue todo sobre el sexo .
Y no tengo idea de donde rayos están los padres mientras pasaba todo lo que paso

Knowing the controversy, it is a very good school-life/romance story about characters in a love triangle.

School Days is not a manga/anime for everyone. This a story that you will either love or hate, there are no in between. As you can see, I love this series. Compare to the anime, I like the manga a lot better. It made Makotos's character a lot more likeable. Also when it comes to the cheating (yes, this manga is about cheating) he only cheated with Sekai while in the anime he just took everything that had a skirt.
School is very popular becasue of it's yandere genre and it is here, however the plot is completely different and therefore the ending is also different. Another important difference that we have is that in the manga we have no sex. Which kinda gave me a relief, since the anime was all about sex.
I really like school days, but I repeat it is not for everyone. If you want to read this manga go ahead, read at your risk, but let me warn you that there is no guarantee that you will like, since there are more haters than lovers.

School Days es una franquicia de harem infame por diversas razones. Una de ellas es la frecuencia y facilidad con la que los finales de sus distintas historias termina de manera violenta y, frecuentemente, con cuchillos o trenes.
Este tomo se compone completamente de lo que precede a dichas cosas: momentos ligeros y de diversión entre estudiantes. Es meramente un puente por lo que está por venir, y nada más.
Este tomo debe ser leído junto con su continuación, ya que es solamente preparación para el final.

The anime is bad, but this is... interesting. If you like romance with a crazy twist, this is the manga for you. Unfortunately, it hasn't been translated to English, so you'll have to read a scanalation.

Al ser un manga corto se puede leer facilmente en 2 o 3 horas. A mi, personalmente me a sorprendido el final. La pelea entre los dos amores.

O Manga é um dos melhores que já li, o começo é um pouco lento, e a primeira vista pode parecer bobinho mas é muito divertido.
Recomendo! Porém não é um Mangá para todo mundo ler, pois a medida que você avança, a história passa a ter conteúdo mais sérios e pesados, até mesmo trágicos... Não é clichê em sem final
