Fun collection of movie-related articles through the history of film, with plenty of pictures.

When I was getting into film in the late 90s, this was my bible.

This was the beginning for me. This book has it all. Posters, reviews, dates, times, artists lists. Get a lively crash course in the history of cinema. I was drawn to this thing. I still have it, it's quite damaged. It wasn't just a coffee table book for me. It was something to be studied.

The Gene Siskel introduction is an incredible one. The Kubrick quote he chose is one of the best.

100 years of cinema, right at your finger tips, trace the lineage, follow the clues, enjoy yourself.

Did NOT want to take this book back to the library. I kept it checked out for around a month or more
