Excellent view of the city

Great book with lots of pictures. The left-hand side of the book shows a picture of Berlin at some point in the past, and the right-hand side shows a picture of Berlin some time in the last few years.

This book is a great way to understand the buildings and structures that used to stand in Berlin. It's impressive how much has changed since the publication of the book -- only a few years ago.

The old pictures of Potsdamer Platz, Hackescher Markt, or the old City Palace are especially interesting.

Standard "then and now" picture book format - except for Berlin the "then and now" are often starkly different. Interesting if you are interested in Berlin.
