Completes the journey for Thomas and Katherine. Which is a good thing as after six books you really want resolution. The problematic part comes when nearly the whole book is resolution, with little to no story elements other than denumont. Still a good read, and a good ending to the story, but it comes off feeling a little underwheliming after how action packed some of the previous books have been.
Content wise: serious situations with dramatic consequences, but little violence. No language and no sensuality issues.
I liked it. I think it's the first western that I have read where the entire book is a story of his detective work in solving a murder in his town. Great story.
