Truly lives up to it's name. A good place to learn the C programming language if you are scared of computers, scared of math, or both.

Still looking forward to the day someone writes a book about computer science in English and not Computerese. This is better than most, but that still isn't saying much unfortunately. The book also doesn't give the reader drills for practice. That would have been far more helpful than looking at the code of a Blackjack game in the appendix.

Good guide, other than the sort example being faulty.
