A beautifully designed entry in the burgeoning genre of spiritual fiction....This is a rollicking good tale, a complex weave of perceptions in several dimensions. Inanna Returns starts where Sitchin leaves off in his interpretation of ancient Sumerian cuneiform texts. It brings us up to date on what happened after the Sumerian culture was replaced by successor civilizations. But it does so in the words of Inanna herself, from her perspective as she communicated her thoughts through Susan Ferguson.
I read this book 17 years ago and after re-reading it I was still so moved by the story. The book is written as fiction yet the truth of the story is so obvious.
I read this book about 13 years ago and it moved me then. It was just brought to my remembrance by a conversation I was having. I may have to read it again.
