I wasn’t unhappy with this book. It felt a bit on the YA side of things and I wish it had been a bit more mature. There are not enough monsters and the characters aren’t nuanced enough to carry it in the absence of a big bad adversary. Not sure if I’ll read the next book in the series, probably but I’ll not be rushing out to grab it either.
Lots of battles, both of action and wit. Magic involved in the fight between good and evil. I love the characters and the chemistry they have with one another. Well written and fun read!!
