The frog illustrations were so cute but I didn’t like the story much and the frog abuse was crazy (maybe I exaggerated but like I love frogs so it was abuse for me).

While continuing on my admissions of complete honestly today, I will say, that I totally judged a book by its cover. Gasp! Shock and horror! I know, I know, I should NEVER judge a book by its cover; however, when the cover art is bad, it's a sign of things to come..

Loved it! This is one of my favorite story's from Grimm's Fairy Tales and this re-telling of for very little kids is to cute. The pictures are bright and attention getting. It was easy for my daughter to look at the pictures and guess what the Princess was thinking or feeling. Its not so long that they lose interest or to short either. It has a little bit in the beginning about how it was adapted from Grimm's Fairy Tales and that was interesting, mostly to me!! Fun book!
