This book is the ultimate ice-breaker! Whether it’s a family get-together or striking up a conversation at the bar, nothing brings people together like postmodernism, pornography, psychoanalysis, ruthless exploitation market forces, and colonialism !

Heavy dose of Lacanian psychoanalysis of “the Real” with Baudrillard’s hyperrealism ; all applied to some of the sleaziest, most bizarre films ever made.

Interesting but very dense .
