This was my grandmother's high school history textbook, published in 1921, & oh boy was it eye-opening. But I did also actually learn a couple of things I'd somehow missed in my own high school history class (I checked facts, no fear there) so score, I guess. And it is interesting to see how the historical record's emphasis changes over time.
