Okay so I was reading the comic book issues of this instead of the trade back, and honestly it was a trip.
I got them at a convention for $5 all four, and I’m just reading them now and it’s honestly really good.
Very early 2000s, which I didn’t know I’d miss until right now. I mean when this came out I was literally like 5 years old. So it makes me feel a little old, and the ads in the comic were making that experience felt even more. Linkin park (literally my favorite band) and Supernatural (one of my favorite shows), didn’t even know there were comics on it and now I am so down to read them.
Okay enough of that, let me talk about the plot itself, though it was fast pace I really enjoyed it because it didn’t feel like that I was just invested overall. I miss spy comics like this, stuff that has Charlie’s Angels vibes to it, and I honestly don’t remember much of those movies, but it was really fun to read this, and I kind of wish I had read this younger, I felt like I maybe wouldn’t have liked it though, now I do.
Something about females being badass and getting their life together at the same time just gives me joy honestly, and it’s not seen a lot now a days, well everything has a trope to it, and it can be very over played a lot. Like give me a 20-something year old who’s badass as well as trying to buy a house and relax, like I love that.
I’ve never read anything of Danger Girl but now I will cuz this was really good, and really nostalgic.

Interesting story with more than few nods to Charlies Angels, Alias and A-Team (but in this case we are talking about fully female team).

Art is fantastic - for some it may be too sexist though - but in overall highly entertaining.

If you like adventure, action, heroes facing impossible odds and situations and surviving it all then this one is for you.

Recommended.
