Most of Judith McNaught books are set in the big ball gowns, day dresses and where a Duke or other Noble men can fall in love. There is humor, anger, sadness, and of course happiness. I never get tired of reading these books.

I love this author and her writing. I've read and reread this book and all her books over the years. While this is not my favorite book of hers it's up there.

This is my favourite of Judith McNaught's novels. She always creates strong characters and Elizabeth and Ian are no exception. I enjoy the settings, the character dialogue and the fact that both of the main characters gain a sense of enlightenment at the end of the novel. Highly recommend.
