This is the best Paris travel guide I have ever read. It makes you feel like you are being guided around Paris by a local and offers real insight into the French culture. The book gives background information on famous monuments, practical travel advice, and it answers any questions that someone visiting Paris for the first time might have. It is also fun to read and I find myself browsing through the pages even when I am not planning a trip abroad. This book would be a great reference for students planning a trip to Paris for a class project.

Not perhaps as Irreverent as it would like to believe it is, still a great and informative travel book.
