The biggest spider in the world is the size of a frisbee! This book has fascinating facts and information accompanied by wonderful photos of the Giant Bird-eating Tarantula.

Great introduction to spider research. I am glad I don't live in the rain forests of South America...spiders the size of Frisbees frighten me and I like spiders.
