Controlled Fall

Rate this book
Offical Description: What do you do when you are trapped at the bottom of a ravine with your secret crush and no one knows where you are? Scott did the only thing he could think of -- let the other man know how he felt. Will the situation get out of control or will they fall for each other?

Original Prompt:
Dear Author,
I know I'm writing one of the stories but I just found this pic online and DAYUMMM, I wanna know why these two hunks are playing on the side of this waterfall.

But my muse is suspiciously absent!!!

Anyone out there wanna let me know what these two are up to?

Photo Description: A black/white photo of a small waterfall falling from a rock face. In front, visible from the neck down, two naked men embrace. The man on the right stands between his lover's legs, grasping his shoulders. The other has his hands in the center of his lover's back, pulling him closer.

This story was written as a part of the M/M Romance Group's "Hot Summer Days" event. Group members were asked to write a story prompt inspired by a photo of their choice. Authors of the group selected a photo and prompt that spoke to them and wrote a short story.

Kayla Jameth

Kayla Jameth grew up on the family farm in Ohio. An unrepentant tomboy, she baled hay, raised cattle, and her father taught her to weld before she graduated from high school.

She attended Cleveland’s Case Western Reserve University and later, Texas A&M University in her pursuit of veterinary medicine, taking her far away from her rural roots.

But it wasn’t all hard work for her, her sojourn as the princess of the Celestial Kingdom left her with the title "Sir" and a costume closet the envy of many knights, lords, and ladies.

After declaring for years that she was not an author, Kayla now finds herself writing m/m erotic romance outside of Houston, Texas. While you can take the girl out of the country, you can't turn her into a city slicker. Kayla would still rather be outside getting down and dirty with the boys.

She shares a full house with her favorite animals: a cat, two guinea pigs, a gerbil, three guppies, as well as her husband, son, and daughter.

An okay story. Thin plot, but hot sex.

Nothing like an outdoor adventure to turn up the heat and bring out the playfulness in the boys! Loved the details and authenticity throughout the story. The banter between the guys was quite fun - they were a vocal duo;) Fantastic story, Kayla! Thanks for sharing it with us!!!

Kayla, this was fun, sweet and hot before you mentioned they were your 6th grade crushes - well that somehow makes even better for me! Thank you for writing it. :)

Pretty good. Extremely hot. One of the MCs was kind of weird though. I could only relate to one of them. The other was kind of cheesy.

Really boring start. All scenery details and their hiking trip and building a fire and. Poking on it and blah. Not sure who enjoys this type of thing, it's like reading a hiking manual

Then a guide how to put on a harness and repel down a cliff. It's making me sleepy.

I couldn't follow along with the sex at all, which was okay because it was also boring. and then so much sex. and the story/characters wasn't developed at all. not sure what we were supposed to like about this one.

The dialogue sounds like two 12 year olds bickering.
